Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that visited websites send to the user's device, where they are stored to be later transmitted back to the same sites on the next visit. Some are needed for the site to work properly, others collect statistical information about how it is used.
When you visit our site for the first time, a banner asks you to choose whether to accept all cookies or only necessary ones. Your choice is saved in your browser (via localStorage, a technology similar to cookies) and respected on future visits.
Which cookies we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
aurora_cookie_consent | Necessary | Stores the choice made in the cookie banner, so it is not asked again on every visit. | Persistent, until manually cleared |
_ga, _ga_* | Analytics | Google Analytics: distinguish visitors and sessions to generate aggregated, anonymous statistics on site usage (pages visited, traffic sources). | Up to 14 months (Google's setting) |
Google Analytics cookies are installed only if you choose "Accept all" in the initial banner. If you choose "Necessary only", these cookies are never loaded and no data is sent to Google.
Third-party cookies activated by a voluntary action
Some pages of the site (the course pages) include a booking form for a free orientation call, provided by Cal.com. The Cal.com script is loaded only if you explicitly click the booking button — not when the page opens. Once loaded, Cal.com may set its own cookies according to its privacy policy.
Data collected without cookies
Some information about your visit (IP address, requested page) is recorded directly by our server, without the use of cookies, for security and internal statistical purposes. This processing does not require cookie consent since it does not use technologies stored on your device, but it is still a processing of personal data — for details see our Privacy Policy.
How to manage your preferences
- You can choose "Necessary only" in the banner shown on your first visit to exclude analytics cookies.
- You can clear your browsing data (cookies and localStorage) at any time from your browser settings, to make the banner reappear and choose again.
- You can specifically disable Google Analytics by installing the Google opt-out browser add-on.
- Most browsers allow you to block all third-party cookies from their privacy settings.
