1. Data Controller
The Data Controller for the personal data collected through this website is Aurora, based in Tavagnacco (UD), Italy, VAT number IT03149150306.

2. What data we collect
2.1 Data you provide voluntarily
When you fill in a form on the site, you provide us directly with some personal data:

This data is used solely to respond to your request or manage your enrollment, and is sent to us by email — it is not stored in a separate database beyond the normal retention of that email correspondence.
2.2 Data collected automatically
Our server automatically records some technical information for the operation and security of the site:
- Server logs: IP address, requested page, date and time, for security and technical diagnostic purposes.
- Statistics on course pages: for pages related to our training offer, we record, for internal statistical purposes (traffic analysis and effectiveness of promotional campaigns), the visitor's IP address and an approximate geographic area (city/country), together with the page visited. This data is kept for a maximum of 30 days, is accessible only to the Data Controller through a password-protected area, and excludes known bots and crawlers (search engines, etc.).

3. AuroVolt, the web app for electricians and installers
AuroVolt is Aurora's web app, available at app.aur-ora.it/aurovolt. This section describes the data processed when you visit the presentation page, sign up or use the app. The Controller is the same as indicated in section 1.
3.1 Sign-up and access
When you sign up we collect:
- your email address;
- the date and time at which you confirm that you have read this notice;
- your password, which is not stored in clear text: we only keep an encrypted fingerprint (hash). You choose the password yourself from the link you receive by email; the link expires after a limited time.
We use this data to let you access the app, to recover your password and to send you service communications (the confirmation link and the password reset link). For each new sign-up Aurora receives an internal notification at info@aur-ora.it with the email address and the sign-up date.
We do not send marketing emails and there is no marketing consent. If we ever do so in the future, we will ask for a separate and specific consent.
3.2 Your projects
The projects you create with AuroVolt (floor plans, electrical points, bills of materials, quotes) stay in the browser of your device. Our server does not keep them, so we cannot see or recover them: to keep a backup copy you can export them as a ZIP file.
3.3 Usage statistics
To understand how much the service is used, we count visits to the presentation page and openings of the app. We do it on our own server, without cookies and without external tools:
- the IP address is not stored in these statistics;
- to count distinct visitors we use a fingerprint that changes every day and does not allow a person to be recognised over time;
- of the site you come from we only keep the domain;
- for registered users we record the email address alongside logins and app openings.
This data is kept for 400 days and then deleted.
3.4 Technical logs and cookies
Like any web server, the one hosting AuroVolt records the IP address, the requested page and the time in technical logs, for security and diagnostic purposes (see section 2.2). AuroVolt does not use profiling or tracking cookies: after login it only sets a technical session cookie, needed for the login to work.

5. Who we share data with
Your data may be processed by the following parties, acting as data processors or as independent controllers for the services they provide:
- Email service provider, for sending communications related to requests and enrollments.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads) — only if you consent to analytics cookies. Google may transfer data to the United States; Google adopts the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission as a safeguard for this transfer. More information in Google's privacy policy.
- Cal.com Inc., only if you use the free orientation call booking form present on some pages of the site. In that case, the data you enter (name, email, chosen time) is processed by Cal.com according to their privacy policy.
- Hosting provider, which hosts the servers on which the site and the AuroVolt app are installed.
- Aruba S.p.A. (Ponte San Pietro, BG, Italy), email service provider through which, from the mailbox aurora@aur-ora.it, we send AuroVolt's service emails (confirmation and password reset links).
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes other than those indicated above.
6. How long we keep your data
- Emails related to contact requests and enrollments are kept for as long as necessary to handle the request and, for tax and accounting obligations related to course enrollments, for the period required by applicable law (up to 10 years for tax documentation).
- Statistical logs of course pages (IP and geographic area) are kept for a maximum of 30 days.
- Data collected through Google Analytics is retained according to Google's retention settings, generally up to 14 months.
- AuroVolt sign-up data (email, date of confirmation of this notice, encrypted password fingerprint) is kept for as long as your access remains active; you can ask for its deletion at any time by writing to info@aur-ora.it.
- AuroVolt usage statistics are kept for 400 days and then deleted.
- Technical logs of the server hosting AuroVolt are kept for about 14 days.
7. Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request rectification or erasure;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing;
- request data portability, where applicable.
You can exercise these rights by writing to info@aur-ora.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable law.
This notice may be updated over time, for example following regulatory changes or new features on the site. We invite you to review it periodically. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
